Flower Pot, previously known as Flower Vase, increases Decor opinion and reduces Duplicant's Stress. They can host a decorative plant which will increase Decor in the surrounding area. However, if the plant's needs aren't met (and the plant becomes Stifled), it will lower decor instead.

The Flower Pot is available early on in the game and is an easy way of providing Decor. It costs very little to build and is mostly limited by available space and seeds. A single Sandstone Flower Pot with a Bluff Briar in it will provide +26 Decor around it. Note that the decor is counted as "20+ decor item" for the condition of Great Hall.
Place the Flower Pot between 2 structures where your duplicants will stay for some time (Cot, Research Station, Microbe Musher...) to help with high Decor expectation Duplicants early on. Flower Pot by itself does not contribute to decor.
Flower Pots will eventually become outclassed by the Sculpting Block's wider range, as its only relevant advantage will be its 2 tile height and higher total decor value per object.
Bugs[ | ]
- Pips can plant any seed in a flower pot if it's entombed, removing the need for solid fertilizer.
